What Are CloneX?

CloneX are avatars

As this contest is open to everyone, we recognize that artists may not have access to Clones.

Hence we've reached out to the community and got holders' consent to use their characters in your artwork. Feel free to choose from any of these Clones that fit the mood you're going for!

Post-Contest Sales and Commercialisation

With this contest, we hope to see more CloneX and RTFKT-related artworks come to life.

We also want to introduce RTFKT and CloneX to artists and creators outside of Web3, hoping to create a circular economy where community initiatives drives the community. As such, we're also exploring the idea of commercialization opportunities with artists after the contest.

Note: Artworks that include copyrighted materials, trademarks, or features that are ineligible for commercialization e.g. Murakami Drips will be strictly excluded from any post-contest sales or commercialization experiments.

For original artworks, we want to explore the following:

#1 Event Merchandise

We will work with selected Artists to adapt their designs for different merchandise and offer it to the community. After accounting for the cost of production, shipping, and handling fees, the remaining proceeds will be split with the Artist, Artifact3, and featured Clone(s) with 60% of proceeds going to Artist(s).

#2 Digital Art Sale

Should there be interest in procuring the digital artwork, we will link up the potential buyer(s) with the respective artist(s).

It is up to the Artist to determine his terms of sale, and we will not take any commission from the sale.

Trading Card Templates And Examples

We want to make participating in the contest as seamless as possible. Thus we've also created Trading Card templates that you are free to use. You can download them from this folder.

Blank Template

Available in png and psd, and in 11 colour variations.

The center region is transparent, so your artwork should fit into the blank space. Feel free to overlay the template with text, icons, blocks, and other images.
